Dr. Shaffer has been named new Education Chairman for the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), North Americas' largest educational organization of mnimally invasive and arthroscopic surgery. His responsibilities will include coordination and development of educational curricula for the annual arthroscopic meetings, as well as the Annual Specialty Day program. |

The 31st Annual Cherry Blossom Orthopaedic Seminar was a success. The seminar, "Arthroscopy, Arthroplasty & Sports Medicine: The 2012 Perspective," took place on March 30 -- April 1, 2012 at the Waterview Conference Center Rosslyn, VA.

The 31st Fall Course will be held in Phoenix Arizona from November 8-10th. Dr. Shaffer will be serving as moderator during shoulder symposium, as well as serving as mini-fellowship instructor during the shoulder lab session.
