Dr. Shaffer participated as a panelist in an instructional course on Anterior Shoulder Instability, held in San Antonio Texas on 4/25/2013 at the 32nd Annual AANA Meeting. His presentation described pearls and tips on optimizing shoulder stabilization.
Dr. J.R. Rudzki, orthopaedic sports medicine and fracture specialist, was recently interviewed by Wolf Blitzer on CNN's The Situation Room to discuss the injury to Louisville Basketball Player Kevin Ware. See the video below.
Dr. Rudzki has been reappointed to the Evaluation Committee of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. This committee is responsible for the creation and development of examinations for practicing Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as Surgeons-in-Training. His second three-year term will run from 2013-2016.
